fourth day of january, princess bride

She was given a beautiful barbie dress and veil as a Christmas present from lovely friends, it is now her favourite dressup! Thanks Jordan & Ky! Big brother was also very impressed with his cricket set 🙂

Second Day of January

A gorgeous sunny day in Adelaide, perfect for a family outing!

02Jan2009

My darling daughter was happy to twirl in her pink tutu skirt and parasol for a walk, though after spotting a rather large brown snake sunning in some bushes the walk became slightly more attentive. There’s nothing like a snake sighting to put a sombre mood on the walk! Thankfully an iceblock later cheered everyone up 🙂

First Day of January

Last year I did a challenge where I took at least a photo a day for the entire month of January. I enjoyed it so much and thought it was such a great memory of our Summer holidays, so I’ve decided to do it again!

First Day of January

01Jan2009
For Christmas, Grandma gave the children a sweet stove and sink combo for their cubby house. We’ve decided to keep them inside for a while over the summer so they can enjoy them more out of the heat. Needless to say I’m forever drinking cups of “tea” and sampling some awesome playdough dishes at the moment – they’ve been a real hit!

The other lovely thing about the gifts is that they were handmade by a charity group that runs activities for people with special needs – www.encountercentre.com.au/ They did a great job making them, they’re lovely and sturdy

Pregnant and Glowing – a sneak peak

Gorgeous, glowing, nurturing a little baby who I can’t wait to meet, it was lovely to photograph Nina, doesn’t she look amazing!

The big question will be, will this baby be having his/her first Christmas this year or next year?!

This baby is going to have a gentle, loving big brother, this little guy has a very peaceful soul.

There are many more beautiful images from this session, it was hard to settle on just a few to share.

Nina, thank you for the opportunity to photograph you. I will have the rest of the photos to you shortly. Enjoy the end of your pregnancy xxx

A beautiful day in Adelaide

A beautiful Sunday in Adelaide, perfect for a walk with camera in tow. One of the aims for this day was to take some happy photographs of both children together to use in our family’s Christmas Cards, however my children seemed to be very sombre as soon as I pointed the camera at them (I think they’re over the whole photographer experience!). So of all the shots I took of them together – this is the least sombre looking! I’m thankful that they seemed marginally happier in the others :p

Ideally I’d like to try and take some more photographs of them together, but realistically I think that everyone will be getting sombre Christmas Cards this year….

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess!

To my darling daughter, the last 3 years have been bliss. Thank you for being so special!

My family were so impressed with her birthday cake that they immediately suspected I was telling porky pies about making it myself!

More special thanks must go to the talented Danielle Stahl who I blatantly copied this cake from. However once my daughter saw it on Danielle’s Blog – she begged and begged (and begged!) me to make her one the same!

Happy First Birthday!

I was lucky enough to take some photos of one of my favourite little boys on his very first birthday!

It was lovely to share your birthday with you little man, particularly as it was exactly a year to the day since I saw you come into the world. Bless you and your family – a lifetime of peace and happiness.

Sneak Peak

It was such a pleasure to meet Miss A and her lovely parents, and isn’t she just gorgeous! Here are a few of my favourites from our time together, with more to come later 🙂

Did I mention she was gorgeous? How’s this for sleeping beauty!

and look at her itty bitty feet in Daddy’s hands – so sweet!
